I first met Terry back in 1988 and we’ve had a long friendship ever since. He’s been an electronics buddy and we have collaborated on many projects.
I’ve generally stuck with the tried and proven whereas Terry would push the boundaries and ask “what about this?” Terry subtly showed me the benefits of the newer technology and encouraged me to adopt it. It has been an “eye opener” which I am so appreciative of. I cherish these times of “inspiration” that Terry showed me.
Over the years, Terry and I have caught up for a coffee every month or so at the McDowall Deja Bru Café to discuss the latest projects. As Terry’s health deteriorated, we’d catch up at “Café Denby” (his house).
Terry was always stoic and positive. He never complained about his illness.
Thankyou Terry for being a wonderful friend over these past 35 years.
